this is a brief explanation of the book “Al-Muqaddimatu Al-Jazariyyatu,” authored by the esteemed scholar, Muhammad Ibn Al-Jazari’ (May Allah have mercy on him). The book presents the rulings of Tajwîd in a straightforward manner, making it accessible for students of knowledge, starting from Introduction to the chapter on improving recitation. I implore Allah, the Exalted, to grant him mercy and reward him with Jannatul-Firdaus. I undertook the task of explaining this blessed book of Tajwîd due to its significant benefits for the Ummah in rectifying their articulation and reciting the Qur’an in the best manner, as Allah commanded us in the Qur’an. The Prophet ﷺ also instructed us to recite in accordance with authentic Hadith. I have avoided unnecessary prolongation, fearing to stray from the purpose of the poem and aiming to make its understanding and implementation easier. I pray that Allah, the Exalted, accepts this service from me, benefits the Ummah and our community, and makes it a means of guiding humankind toward the proper recitation of the Qur’an. Verily, He is the Hearer and Answerer of Du’a.
